A designer who
writes the code.
I'm Ben, a designer and developer who's been building for the web since 2001. I like living in the overlap: sketching an interface in the morning and shipping the front-end for it in the afternoon.
Before tech, I spent a decade in education which is really where I learned to take something complicated and make it click for people. Today I lead the Solutions Architects team at Webflow and still get a genuine kick out of solving a gnarly layout bug at 11pm.

Where I've worked
Twenty-some years across the web, education, and the arts. Here's the short version.
Director, Solutions Architect
Senior Manager, Technical Architects
Strategic Technical Architect
Senior Customer Support Manager
Customer Support Manager
Technical Support Specialist
Director, Technology
Led technology for the OPSRC. Providing support to schools on technical issues, running training on pressing technology topics, and helping partner schools across the state get the most from their tools.
During my time at OPSRC we also stood up a web hosting service for K12 schools. This is when I discovered Webflow and fell in love with it.
Technology Director
Responsible for the upkeep of roughly 1,600 machines across the district and for maintaining the health of the entire network — keeping classrooms running day to day.
Visual Arts Pastor
Led all visual and graphic production for a 2,500+ congregation — graphic design, web design and development, layout, and the visuals that supported every gathering.
Seven years. Six roles.
I joined Webflow in 2019 as a Technical Support Specialist and it was one of the best decisions I've made. What started on the front lines with customers has grown into six roles, culminating in where I sit today as Director of Solutions Architects.
Along the way I built internal tooling still in active use, stepped into an interim leadership role to help stabilize a team through significant org change, transitioned to working alongside Webflow's largest enterprise accounts, and led the initiative that redefined how technical advisors show up for customers post-sale. I also started Webflow Examples on GitHub that is now used by DevRel to share code with app developers.
I've spoken at Webflow Conf in New York, Chicago, London, and San Francisco. I've earned President's Club every year since it launched. And I won the Diamond Award at Sales Kickoff FY24. I work hard to bring impact for customers and our team.
